Step 1

Extend elbow with palm down and flex wrist so fingers are pointing downward. | |
Step 2 | Apply a single strip of tape starting 2 inches above the elbow down the forearm along the outside of the arm. | |
Step 3 | Wrap a second strip of tape around the painful area near the elbow, trimming the tape to length – allowing a small gap between ends of the tape on the inside of the elbow to avoid overlap and restricting circulation. | |
Note |
For Tennis elbow, application the long strip will cross over to top of arm ending at the back of hand. For Golf elbow, the long strip of tape will cross over to under side of arm ending at the base of the palm. |
NOTE: For some hard to reach areas of the body, working with a partner to apply tape will insure more effective application.
